GRAND CANYON PHOTO TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

______________________________________________________________________

1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Grand Canyon PT International Exhibition is open to all photographers around the world.  However, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions.

Submission of digital entries implies the acceptance of all conditions.  The entrant must be the owner of all rights of the submitted works.  Entry is limited to the PSA Exhibitions Standards definition of Photo Travel (see #2 below).  Entries may be acquired by scanning of personal photographic work.

Important:

The images must be submitted as electronic files by upload only at the provided entry form.  No CD will be accepted.

By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication on an internet website and/or display in media related to the exhibition.  The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright by the entrant.  Any image that was previously accepted in the Grand Canyon Photo Travel Exhibition may not be re-entered regardless of its title.

2. COMPETITION DIVISION

Photo Travel Division with PSA PT Star Ratings and Who’s Who Recognition.

PSA Photo Travel Definition

“A Photo Travel image must express the feeling of a time and place, and portray a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state. Photo Travel images have no geographical limitations. Ultra close-ups which lose their identity and studio-type model shots are unacceptable. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any element of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. Techniques that enhance the presentation of the image, without changing the photo travel content, are permitted. All adjustments must appear natural. The removal, or manipulation, of colors contained within the original image to enable the production of monochrome images is permitted.”

Entries may be acquired by scanning of personal photographic work.

Important:

The images must be submitted as electronic files by upload only at the provided entry form.  No CD will be accepted.
